Shed Some Light:
A Personal Project!
Passion: Defined as any powerful or compelling emotion or feeling. The other day I was thinking about women and what it means to be a woman. There are so many definitions out there, but one thing that kept popping up in my mind was the word passion. Women are passionate beings!!!
Then a light bulb went off...what if I could "Shed Some Light" onto the understanding of women and what makes them passionate. So, I have decided to do something I have never done but always wanted to try. I am creating a body of work just because I want to! The thought of showcasing women doing what they are passionate about makes me super emotional and excited.
I plan on photographing 12 women in a very specific style: I want to photograph these women doing what they are passionate about, what drives them, what brings them joy in their lives. I am so ready to "Shed Some Light" into the worlds of these amazing women! Let the journey begin!!!!
Look forward to more blog posts about my journey and of course my Facebook, instagram, and twitter updates throughout the process. After my amazing experiences with these women, I will hold a gallery opening showcasing their compelling portraits. I can't wait to get it all planned out and invite everyone!
