Bubbles & Berries Boudoir was featured in Buffalo Magazine

I am honored and blessed to do what I do for a living. I have the opportunity to help women realize how truly beautiful they are.

This month I had a feature article written in Buffalo Magazine about my business, Bubbles & Berries Boudoir. It is so important to me to bring the knowledge of what boudoir photography is all about, to the women of Buffalo. Whether it is a bride to be, a stay at home mom, a wife who wants to get that spark back, or the woman who just wants to feel amazing about her body, boudoir photography is for all women.

I was very nervous at first during my interview with Buffalo Magazine, but as soon as Tracy started asking questions, my heart just poured out. Sometimes I feel like I could just go on and on as to why I love shooting boudoir and why I truly feel that all women should get to experience a boudoir session with Bubbles & Berries Boudoir. It is so awesome to watch my clients go from timid and nervous when they first arrive, to glowing and confident when they walk out of my door. Emails like this right after a session just make my day, "Thank you both soooo much for the awesome experience! ! I am on cloud 9 and can't wait to see the pictures!!"

Not only is it exciting to hear from my family and friends that they loved the article, but to hear from my clients that were featured in the article as well. They felt like stars!!! I plan on doing everything I can to keep educating the women of Buffalo about boudoir photography and why they deserve a session with Bubbles & Berries Boudoir.

Shed Some Light:
A Personal Project!

Passion: Defined as any powerful or compelling emotion or feeling.

The other day I was thinking about women and what it means to be a woman. There are so many definitions out there, but one thing that kept popping up in my mind was the word passion. Women are passionate beings!!!

Then a light bulb went off...what if I could "Shed Some Light" onto the understanding of women and what makes them passionate. So, I have decided to do something I have never done but always wanted to try. I am creating a body of work just because I want to! The thought of showcasing women doing what they are passionate about makes me super emotional and excited.

I plan on photographing 12 women in a very specific style: I want to photograph these women doing what they are passionate about, what drives them, what brings them joy in their lives. I am so ready to "Shed Some Light" into the worlds of these amazing women! Let the journey begin!!!!

Look forward to more blog posts about my journey and of course my Facebook, instagram, and twitter updates throughout the process. After my amazing experiences with these women, I will hold a gallery opening showcasing their compelling portraits. I can't wait to get it all planned out and invite everyone!

Red Hot Boudoir Party Success

Hey there guys, today is Friday, August 29th, 2014 and I am getting ready to shoot a fabulous Red Hot Boudoir Party. I thought I would take a few minutes to reflect on the last boudoir party I did and what a success it was.

This was my first boudoir party, and boy was it one heck of a party! These ladies had so many beautiful decorations and props, it made me so excited to photograph these ladies.

Everyone was nervous of course, who wouldn't be they had never done anything like this before. But with in the first 5 clicks I could see the confidence shift and their true inner beauty start to shine through.

Each girl brought their own style, passion, and personality to the shoot. I felt so lucky to be exposed to so many wonderful women in such a short amount of time. Sometime it is hard to believe that I get to be the one to show these women just how beautiful and sexy they really are.

At the end of the party I gathered all of the ladies to show them a small slide show with a few images that the girls chose to show each other. The wows and ahhhs and OMGs were one after the other. I was so excited about the outcome that I wound up with with tears in my eyes. I can't express enough how happy I was with everything this party did for these ladies and myself.

Of course, I didn't do all of this by myself. I had my amazing Hair and Makeup Stylist, Elizabeth Dugan and her wonderful assistant. They did such an amazing job making each lady look and feel fabulous. Also my editor, Savannah Griffith owner of Rare Rustic Crafts. Savannah, went through each session, did the edits and did a private viewing with each lady. She worked so hard and helped me keep everything flowing.

Today I plan on creating the same amazing experience for the ladies during their Red Hot Boudoir Party!!!!

A Valentine's Day To Remember!

Yikes it's been a while! Sorry everyone, life and business have been a bit busy. First, I should start by wishing everyone a very Happy New Year.

My new year started out a little rough with a nasty flu. I am finally feeling normal and ready to take on this new year full force.

With that being said, Valentine's Day is right around the corner and I wanted to give everyone a fair chance at something amazing!

This year Bubbles & Berries Boudoir is doing a Valentine's Day Boudoir special like no other. We are offering free album upgrades. The value of this deal is so awesome! Some upgrades range in value from $85 to $200's in value, and that is just for starters.

I want every woman to have the chance to make this Valentine's Day truly one to remember. Not only will your loved one be blown away, but you will have the time of your life creating a beautiful keepsake to cherish.

I plan on blogging at least once a month to share what's new with Bubbles & Berries Boudoir. And trust me there is going to be a lot of new and exciting things coming your way!

xoxo Robyn
